The Virtual Research Institute for Sustainable Energy Production, Storage, and Utilization at New York University Abu Dhabi (joint with Khalifa University) invites applicants to apply for an open Postdoctoral-associate position in the Machine Learning for Sustainability research track. The postdoctoral associate will focus on developing state-of-the-art artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning models for the advancement of renewable energy and sustainable technologies. Specifically, the ideal candidate will expect to develop the machine learning models for the main tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Renewable Energy Integration: Online Forecasting Tools
- Renewable Energy Integration: Renewable Energy Management Systems
- Smart transmission and distribution: AI-based cyber-physical security of smart grids
- Smart transmission and distribution: Supporting technologies: Demand Response
The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
